510 wins in the Weekend League in FIFA 21!

In recent years the hype about FIFA Ultimate Team and especially the Weekend League, the “premier class” of the game mode, has increased. There has never been anything like it before – a 14 year old boy who seems to be unbeatable. That is the story of Anders Vejrgang!

Many players around the world have been struggling since the day FIFA 21 was released to get better and primarily to work out a good record in the Weekend League.

The demands are different, but of course the prevailing motto for everyone is: the more successful, the better. To be unbeaten in the Weekend League is almost an impossibility with 30 games.

Every now and then a professional succeeds, but for “normal people” that is actually unthinkable. Even the best players in the world dream of having 30 wins out of the FUT Champions Weekend week after week – except for one. Because that’s exactly what Anders Vejrgang, a 14-year-old Dane, managed to do.

At the latest after the third Weekend League with a perfect record of a total of 90/0 wins, the insiders and enthusiastic eSports fans became aware of Vejrgang and followed every game.

How soon will the series end? When does he finally have to go bankrupt? Many have asked themselves these questions since then, but so far in vain. Vejrgang wins and wins, was able to maintain his series even after 16 Weekend Leagues with a record of meanwhile 510 wins with zero bankruptcies.

However, Vejrgang is a repeat offender: Already at FIFA 19, he achieved several weekends with 30 wins, at that time he was just twelve years old and thus set the record as the youngest player to remain unbeaten in the Weekend League.

The hype about his person is no coincidence and has not escaped the eSports department of Bundesliga soccer club RB Leipzig. They signed the Dane in September, one month before the start of his insane series.

But what makes the boy so special? Was he raised with the controller in the cradle? No! How he 2018 the portal „Bleacher Report“ said, FIFA 11 was the first game in the series he played – Vejrgang was five years old at the time.

At that age, one or the other child might have had the gamepad in their hand, so we can’t see any big advantage here. He has been active in the Ultimate Team and Weekend League since 2017, so only a year before his first 30/0.

Even at that age he won thousands of euros in prize money through FIFA tournaments, and his contract with Leipzig should certainly help Vejrgang to focus more on his eSports career. In the meantime it is starting as “RBLZ Anders”.

Incidentally, he is not yet allowed to participate in the Virtual Bundesliga, participants must be at least 16 years old. Probably good news for his colleagues. Because even FIFA world champion “MoAuba” had to accept a 0: 6 and then a 0: 7 bankruptcy against “RBLZ Anders” at FIFA 21 within two weeks.

A look at the team with whom Vejrgang got a perfect balance in the fourth Weekend League shows that he is of course also very well positioned. Cover stars Kylian Mbappe, Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar are on the offensive – many players would be happy to have a card.

The choice of his goalkeeper, Nick Pope from Burnley FC with a rating of 82, should have surprised more people. However, as Vejrgang is no different from the many gamblers worldwide, he regularly makes changes to his team.

The attention has of course also increased due to Vejrgang’s insane series, 55,000 viewers followed his live stream in the sixth week of his Weekend League series.

The Dane includes his Twitter community in his transfers, and he is now followed by over 75,000 users. He lets them vote which cards to buy. The 14-year-old is well on the way to establishing himself as an absolute top star in the eSports scene. We will of course follow him.
