A sharp rise in the number of cases in the country
Fifty-one “confirmed” cases of monkey pox have been identified, according to health authorities figures reported by AFP on Friday, June 3.
In detail, 37 cases have been reported in Ile-de-France, Zes in Occitania, four in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, two in Normandy, one in Hauts-de-France and one in Centre-Val-de-Loire. A new updated report will be published on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.
