Four years of absence deserved a big comeback, therefore, the Santa Cruz de la Sierra International Theater Festival returns reinforced with the participation of 51 casts, 41 nationals and 10 foreigners. The meeting will be from April 21 to 30 at venues in the capital city and provinces.
The thirteenth version, called A festival for everyone, has 71 confirmed performances, including three stand-up evenings and five exclusive ones for the family. In addition, 40% will be free to the public.
The stand-up stomps
Óscar Diego Leaño, artistic director of the festival, states that the event aims to bring together the stage world and the public, and meet them again after the pandemic era. Complying with an expanding genre is that this edition incorporated three days of stand-up with the actors Pablo Osorio, Saúl Montaño, Chichi Kim, Ariel Vargas and Mónica Fernández.
The Association for Art and Culture (APAC), organizer of the meeting, confirmed 11 venues for 2023: House of Culture, Training Center for Spanish Cooperation, Paraninfo, Center for Plurinational Culture, National Theater School, La Tuja, Meraki, La Radio Coffee Bistro, American School, Casa Carmencita Center and Teatro de la Villa Primero de Mayo. In addition, 12 works will travel to Montero, Warnes, Cotoca, Porongo and San Xavier.

Thinking of uniting families, there will be five days with shows suitable for adults and children at the University Auditorium, with special prices for Bs 15 to 20.
One of the works is Papelé, a paper adventure, by the Brazilian company Téspis, assembled with cardboard and paper.
The schedule of the event will be revealed in a few weeks and promises comfortable hours, without overlapping functions, and a lot of quality and variety.
