On Monday, 509 people were admitted with corona to Norwegian hospitals. There is an increase of 67 people from Friday, and the pandemic’s highest number of hospitalized.
Among these, 68 are in the intensive care unit and 29 receive respiratory treatment.
In the last 24 hours, 7464 new cases of infection have been registered in the country, and 2166 of these have been registered in Oslo. However, due to changes in the test system, fewer cases of infection are registered than before, as more people now do not have to take a PCR test after a positive self-test.
The number of admissions has in recent days increased relatively sharply. On Friday, 442 people were admitted with corona to Norwegian hospitals, while the day before there were 402.
