Only 17 years old, the talented Bulgarian singer Nikol Palascheva is among the new star young additions to the music scene in Italy. Everyone there knows her as Nika Paris. Nick, because from a young age everyone affectionately calls her that. And Paris comes to her by accident. “When someone tells me Nicole, I feel like I’ve made a mistake and they’ll argue with me,” laughs the young singer.
Just a few days ago – on June 18, Nika Paris participated in one of a series of concerts entitled Battiti Live in Bari, Italy. Extremely popular music event, which is attended by the most famous stars of Botusha. This year, names like Fedez, the world-famous IL Volo trio, Tomaso Paradiso, are taking part. The Bulgarian is invited to take the prestigious stage together with the rapper Vegas Jones. And they sing in front of 50,000 people. The two perform their duet song Amnesie, in which she sings in French and he sings in his native Italian.
The single is a huge success not only in our country, but also in Italy and France, where it entered the radio charts. Nika Paris co-wrote the song with Vegas Jones and ROOM9 DJs. The song revolves around a video taken in Monte Carlo and on the French Riviera.
After the concert in Bari, Nika Paris returned to Bulgaria to take the XI grade exams at the International High School “Prof. Dr. V. Zlatarski ”. And yesterday he appeared on the school stage for the first time to greet his classmates, teachers and guests at the graduation ceremony. She chose to sing “Tell me, white cloud” and was applauded by everyone. Towards the end of the ceremony, Nicole reappeared on stage, performing Teenage Fantasy by British singer George Smith.
A special guest at the celebration was Prof. Nikolay Gabrovski, head of the Clinic of Neurosurgery at the Pirogov Emergency Hospital, who greeted the graduates and wished them to be good people wherever they go, no matter what they do.
Next year, Nika Paris will be in the place of the high school graduates, as she will have her graduation exams, an application and, of course, a ball. She still has no idea what she wants to study, but she is adamant that she will continue her education.
Now, however, she is facing summer with concerts that many performers can only dream of. After her performances on the school stage, she immediately flew to Italy, because on June 28 she will sing not anywhere, but on the Piazza Duomo in Milan. Once again, together with Vegas Jones, he will take part in a mega-concert organized by the rap star Fedez, who is married to the most successful blogger in the world – Kiara Ferrani. In order for the event to be watched by more people, huge screens will be installed throughout the city, which will broadcast the performances of all the singers.
After that, the Bulgarian woman’s program includes concerts all over Italy.
Nika Paris’s stellar career began with her participation in the Italian edition of “X Factor” last year. She was one of the 12 participants who reached the big live concerts. Her mentor from the show was the British pop singer Mika, who chose her and four other out of 25 candidates to be in his team. All the time next to Nika is her singing teacher – vocal pedagogue Dariana Kumanova. In fact, thanks to her, Palascheva signed up to participate in the show without even knowing Italian.
In the 15-year history of the music format, Palascheva is the first foreigner to reach this stage. She was even compared to another artist from the Balkans – the pop star Dua Lipa. During the live concerts, Nika sang her first original song – No Limit, in front of the famous pop singer Ed Sheeran. Shortly afterwards, he performed Dua Lipa’s song Don’t Start Now.
After her participation in “X Factor”, the talented Bulgarian received an offer for a contract with “Sony Music – Italy”.
Usually this offer is addressed to the first, second and third place winners in the reality format. This time the invitation was for the winners of first and second place and for Nika Paris, who finished sixth in the show. Under the label’s hat is Without Limits, a remix made with DJs ROOM9 of her song No Limit. And recently the song with Vegas Jones Amnesie was ready.
The interest in Nika Paris in Italy is really huge. Everyone on the streets recognizes her and people constantly stop her with a request to take a picture with her or just talk. She has no problem communicating in different languages because she speaks French, Spanish and English in addition to Italian.
