New Delhi. The Ministry of Railways has made a plan to develop 500 railway stations across the country. It is likely that the foundation stone for the development work of these stations will be laid next week. The special thing is that the program of foundation stone will be done at the same time. All these stations will be developed under the ‘Amrit Bharat Station Scheme’, in which an investment of about Rs 20,000 crore is estimated.
According to Railway Ministry officials, the program will be organized simultaneously at all 500 stations. A large number of school students will participate in the events. During this, various competitions will be organized among the students.
According to the Ministry of Railways, A+, A and B category stations will be developed. A+ includes all major stations across the country like Anand Vihar, Nizamuddin, Prayagraj and Jaipur.

Under this, the product will be promoted under the ‘one station, one product’ scheme. Under this scheme, 1,309 railway stations have been identified, including 83 in Rajasthan, 87 in Gujarat, 80 in Madhya Pradesh and 34 in Haryana. Out of these, foundation stone will be laid for redevelopment of 500 stations.
