In recent weeks, a lot has been said about possible changes to the 500 plus program. Some of the ideas are strongly commented on by PiS authorities. Some, however, discuss new solutions.
Changes to the 500 plus program are underway. People who receive this benefit should read them. This year, parents and guardians did not have to submit new applications for the 500 plus benefit. After all, 500 Plus pleases many voters, but increasingly higher product prices are also visible in stores, which means that the value of PLN 500 drops.
The current Deputy Prime Minister, Jadwiga Emilewicz, announced at the end of 2019 that the end of the 500 plus programs was approaching. As she admitted in an interview with Business Insider, new direct subsidies, i.e. programs that grant certain groups additional money, were not to exist anymore.
