Police in Berlin have arrested about 500 people who took part in a banned corona demonstration. Thousands of people ignored that ban.
More than 2,000 officers were deployed to break up the demonstration. At the Brandenburg Gate, protesters were told to disperse or else the water cannon would be deployed. Protesters then attacked officers, police said.
