50 years teaching to walk the path of music –

When music is the medium for transposing feelings, a pristine form of expression is evident. The way that this step taken in search of making the most honest feelings of the human being reach others, takes on special significance when it is developed as a family.

In Junín, Marchetto has been a “march” that for many decades has identified with music and more specifically with folklore.

Aldo Marchetto has already completed fifty years teaching from the first steps to the most important issues in music. “I started far away the exercise of a passion with music teaching in a particular way and then, with the entrance to teaching, there were 28 years of uninterrupted activity, until I reached retirement.”

“We were many siblings, my father had the nursery where we all worked, and the older ones – although we all studied – had priority in helping the family,” he said.

Remember that “Everything around me had a lot to do with music in me, because my parents were so special that they gave all the children a very happy childhood. We grew up in a three-hectare farm, which is currently still on Avenida La Plata and Camino del Resero, and is currently run by my brother, the youngest of all ”.
“My parents had 17 children, three of whom died.”

PERMANENT SONG
Aldo remembers when “as a child we went to the fifth, full of plants and we had to locate him to dad, we just had to pay attention and where the voice came from … because he was singing all day.”

“Dad was a music lover and when we were kids he used to make us sing canons … which is a very participatory way of performing.” For us “it was a dream environment”.

THE PENTAGRAM PATH
“At 17 I started studying music and I started to put together groups with my brothers. As there were a lot of us, we put together different groups, duos, trios …

We came to form a 16-member family choir with whom on some occasions we got to take Mom on stage, who was very reluctant to public performance ”.

MUSIC AND PLANTS
Aldo’s mother was surnamed Platone, a long tradition in the development of the nursery in Junín. “Even to this day,” I go every week to give my brother a hand, because being close to plants is a way of life, “says Aldo.

Fifty years with music is a very warm date because it was there when for the first time we got on stage at Club San Martín in a contest “I, as a soloist” and “my brothers Pío, Daniel and Miguel Ángel as a trio ”.
