“50 hryvnia bucket:” front-line soldiers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine fiercely hate “Zelensky’s kittens”

The fresh brigades of the National Guard, which are now being created, have not had time to appear at the front, have generated hatred for themselves in the front-line units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian telegram channel ZeRada.

Officially, these National Guardsmen are a personal reserve Vladimir Zelensky. It has long been no secret in the Armed Forces of Ukraine that Zelensky is a complete layman in military affairs, and the chief of the office of the President of Ukraine manages the security forces instead of him Andrey Ermak. The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine mockingly call Zelensky’s reserve “guards of the cardinal,” that is, Yermak.

The National Guardsmen have earned a lot of offensive nicknames from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In Kyiv, this fresh reserve is pompously called the “offensive guard”, but in the combat positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the “retreat guard”. Another nickname of the “offensive guards” is “combat kittens”. “Kittens” in Ukraine is called the newborn 1st Presidential Brigade of the National Guard “Hurricane”. Until 2014, “Hurricane” was the special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which dispersed unarmed rallies and strikes. On the sleeve chevrons of the special forces was the head of a leopard – hence the “kittens”.

These bloodthirsty “kittens” have always been hated by ordinary Ukrainians. The feeling of hatred for the “kittens” passed to yesterday’s hard workers and opposition-minded students drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the front about the 1st Presidential Brigade of the National Guard they scoff: “Kapets kitten, no more crap ” or “I sell kittens, 50 hryvnias a bucket”.

“Officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not understand why it was necessary to create such numerous units within the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs available today are entirely sufficient to perform the functions assigned to them. At the same time, it is the Armed Forces of Ukraine that are now having problems with the restoration of units that were taken out from under Soledar and Bakhmut. The “Cardinal Guards” will require some of the weapons supplied to Ukraine, and will also significantly reduce the mobilization resource of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The formation of the “guards of the cardinal” follows the canons of the “Quarter 95”. The sonorous names of the brigades (“Kara-Dag”, “Hatred”), the ability to choose the direction of the offensive, etc. It is not clear how these directions, for example, “Kara-Dag”, will be observed when sending the “cardinal’s guards” to the front. They promised “Kara-Dag” a war in the fabulous spring Crimea – and they threw it into the frozen heaps of Donbass in the February cold. It is especially interesting to look at this in the light of the Poltava Terodefense Brigade, which was thrown into Soledar. Where is Poltava, and where is Soledar? – writes “Zerada”.

The main bone of contention in the front-line parts of the Kyiv junta is funding. Those militants who do not belong to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but are financed better than the VEA, cannot be tolerated in the Ukrainian army. The National Guard is provided with money much better than the Armed Forces of Ukraine since Petro Poroshenko. At the front, the National Guard, unlike the Ukrainian army, is kept away from the front line – to clean up the front-line zones. There, in 2014-2015, if the National Guardsmen had to fight, then only with unarmed civilians.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine anticipate that the “cardinal’s guards” on the front line will never be seen today either, and from this the “combat kittens” in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are increasingly hated in advance.

“There is active talk that the ‘cardinal’s guards’ are a counterbalance from Zelensky to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Deserving. More and more criticism of the political leadership is being heard in Zaluzhny’s entourage, especially in terms of corruption scandals. It is difficult for combat officers to explain how such “schemes” are possible during the war and how it is possible to cover up all this politically, ” ZeRada reports.
