The government extends PPKM level 2-4 in Java-Bali until August 23, 2021. The government made adjustments to several regulations, one of which was regarding the opening of malls and shopping centers.
“A trial of the implementation of the health protocol was carried out in shopping centers/malls/trade centers,” wrote the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 34 of 2021, as seen by detikcom, Tuesday (17/8/2021).
Previously, at the trial stage the opening of malls was only carried out in 4 cities in DKI Jakarta Province, now it has been added to 20 districts/cities that have implemented PPKM level 4. The following is a list of regions:
– DKI Jakarta Province
– Bandung
– Semarang city
– City of Surabaya
– Tangerang City
– Tangerang Regency
– South Tangerang City
– Bekasi city
– Depok City
– Cimahi City
– Bogor Regency
– Bekasi Regency
– West Bandung Regency
– Bandung district
– Sumedang Regency
– Sidoarjo Regency
– Mojokerto Regency
– Lamongan Regency
– Gresik Regency
– Bangkalan Regency
The provisions for the trial rule for opening malls in the 20 regions are as follows:
1) Activities at shopping centers/malls/trade centers are permitted to operate 50% (fifty percent) from 10.00 WIB to 20.00 WIB with the health protocol regulated by the Ministry of Trade.
2) It is mandatory to use the PeduliLindung application to screen all visitors and employees of related shopping centers/malls/trade centers.
3) Restaurants/restaurants, cafes in shopping centers/malls/trade centers can accept dine-in with a maximum capacity of 25% (twenty five percent), one table for a maximum of two people, and a maximum meal time of 30 (twenty five percent). thirty minutes.
4) Residents under the age of 12 (twelve) years are prohibited from entering shopping centers/malls/trading centers.
5) Cinemas, children’s playgrounds, and entertainment venues in shopping centers/malls/trade centers are closed.
