5-year-old a child is hit in an accident this evening at 20:30 in the capital’s “Druzhba” district, bTV learned.
According to initial information, after a collision between two cars, one bounced off and hit the child, who was on the sidewalk with his mother.
He was taken to “Pirogov” with a head injury, suspected concussion and a forehead wound, emergency services told bTV. An ambulance arrived at the scene in 6 minutes. The emergency hospital reported that there was no danger to his life.
A second car was sent to the Emergency Service because there was a 2-year-old child in one of the cars, but it was found that he was not injured.
The alcohol and drug tests of the drivers in the accident were negative.
The cause of the accident was the right of way.
