Recognizing the warning signs early is essential to prevent permanent liver damage, and eating too many calories is a major cause of fatty liver buildup, which is why fatty liver disease often coincides with other conditions, such as obesity, diabetes, and triple hyperlipidemia.
Storing fat in the liver is harmful, as it gradually impairs liver function and eventually scarring of the liver can lead to permanent liver disability.
There are several warning signs on your face that could indicate you have fatty liver disease, according to the “express” and “timesofindia” sites.
Facial swelling:
The liver breaks down hormones such as aldosterone, which can lead to fluid retention if allowed to build up.

White spots on the tongue:
