5 top games to look forward to

The Nintendo Switch is the oldest game console of the three, but it is certainly not on its way out yet. This year the game console is blowing out its fifth candle and if we look at the release schedule, there is still plenty of good stuff planned.

The Nintendo Switch has to rely mainly on the exclusive games. Most third-party games either come out later on the game console or simply don’t work as well because the game console is less powerful. The Switch therefore has fewer games than, for example, the PlayStation 5. But what is planned immediately grabs our attention. These are five top games.

Pokémon Legends

The first game on the Nintendo Switch is not very long in coming. What this month you can already get started with Pokémon Legends. It is an original Pokémon game that takes place many hundreds of years before the main series. You will experience great adventures in a kind of feudal Japan. The game seems to be going a bit work like a game like Monster Hunter. From a fixed village you always go on an expedition and you end up in a large open area, where you can of course go hunting for Pokémon. Hopefully it will be a good game.

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp

I am a gamer who has spent a lot of time with the Game Boy Advance. And the two games in the Advance Wars series are among my favorites. Those titles will be re-released on the Nintendo Switch. Actually, the compilation game should have been released last year, but the pandemic made development a bit difficult and so it was decided to postpone the game. A date has not yet been given, but it is expected to be released before the summer of this year.

Splatoon 3

2022
announced last year Nintendo Splatoon 3 on. The game should be released this year on the Nintendo Switch. You travel to the Splatlands. It’s a sweltering desert, with the city of Splatsville in the center. The country is inhabited by Inkling and Octoling veterans and several ground wars are fought. And of course you will soon play a part in that. In this new part, you can use new moves to smash the terrain and win the battle. In short, plenty to do and experience.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2

The Nintendo Switch launch was right off the bat with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. That game is still the first game that I recommend when someone buys a game console and wants to know which game should go with it. This year, if all goes well, we can get started on the sequel. Not much is known about the new part, except that it is planned for this year and the game is partly set high above Hyrule. Hopefully Nintendo will tell us more about this great game soon.

Triangle Strategy op de Nintendo Switch

The above four Nintendo Switch games are titles created by Nintendo itself. Triangle Strategy, however, is from Square Enix. It is a tactical RPG in the style of Final Fantasy Tactics. You’ll be presented with a grand and compelling story, which will require you to think carefully about what you’re doing and how to defeat the enemy as effectively as possible during combat. By the way, Triangle Strategy is still a working name of the game. The game will likely be renamed at launch.
