A fire broke out this Wednesday, February 15 in the early evening rue Romain-Rolland in Froidcul, a place called the town of Moyeuvre-Grande, near Thionville.
The fire, of unknown origin, started in the garage of a dwelling house. “We do not yet know if it comes from the vehicle that was parked there or from the boiler,” said the mayor of Moyeuvre-Grande, Franck Roviero.
“The smoke from the fire has reached the adjoining houses and three families cannot return to their homes this evening,” he added. “Five to six people will have to be relocated.”
None of them was injured but a woman, presenting a fragile state of health, was transported for checks.
