JAKARTA, iNews.id – Smartphone has become an important item for everyone. In order to remain durable, smartphone users must take good care of their devices.
Apart from being a necessary item, the price of smartphones is also getting higher. So, there are also some users who are worried that their expensive smartphone is damaged.
Back when phones were only used for two-way calls, a damaged cell phone might not be a big concern. But, when the smartphone is now broken, you can be cut off from work, GPS, cameras, and many other social interactions.
To help you protect your smartphone properly, here are tips to avoid damaging your smartphone, as quoted from Makeuseof, Sunday (11/4/2021).
1. Use a Quality Case
Protect your cell phone properly before disaster strikes. Use a durable phone case and water to protect your phone. This way, your phone has the best protection against any drops whether in water or on land.
Apart from that, make sure you cover your phone screen with a good screen protector. Using a tempered glass screen protector provides an added level of security.
2. Save Your Phone Properly
Store your phone properly in a bag with the phone slot or in a belt clip. Your phone always falls from loose pockets and turning or bending quickly can cause your phone to fall to the floor.
In your back pocket, the phone might fall and hit the floor, or worse. The back pocket also presents the problem of sitting on top of your phone and breaking the screen. It’s better to be safe than sorry and to keep your phone in a safe place.
3. Beware of the bathroom
The bathroom is a bad zone for cell phone safety. It’s safest if you leave your phone in another room completely. All electronics should be kept away from open water as this may be dangerous to you and your phone.
Many calls have been lost because of the dreaded toilet. You may have avoided using your phone in the bath, but even when you are in the shower, the dripping of steam can damage a cell phone that sits innocently on a table.
