Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – In light of Urinary Tract Cancer Awareness Month in November, the official account of Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health shared some information about testicular cancer in a tweet via Twitter.
Urinary tract cancers include prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, and testicular cancer.
Here are the signs and symptoms of testicular cancer:
- A lump or tumor in the testicle
- Enlarged kidney size
- Feeling of abnormal heaviness in the scrotum
- Feeling of pain in the testicle or scrotum of the testicle
- Feeling of pain in the area between the thighs or in the lower abdomen
Injury risk factors:
- The testicle is in a retained position
- Family history
- Acquired human immunodeficiency disease
- The age range is between 20 and 34 years old
Testicular cancer is most common among young men, according to the official website of the US Centers for Disease Control and Control (CDC), and the incidence is highest among men between the ages of 20 and 39, and decreases in the older age groups.
Conversely, other urological cancers are rare among young people and their incidence increases with age.
