South Tangerang DPRD member viral (Tangsel) Edy Mamat beat the referee for the 2022 Paku Jaya Cup football match in North Serpong, Kopda Eka. Now the case is said to have ended peacefully, while Edy has been given a sanction.

The DPC Gerindra Tangsel opened up about the beating by one of its cadres.
“From the videos, pictures, photos I received, it is true that Mr. Edy Mamat, a member of the South Tangerang City DPRD from the Gerindra faction, said Secretary General of the DPC Gerindra Tangsel Yudi Budi Wibowo when contacted by reporters, Saturday (11/6).
Now this case is said to have ended peacefully. Meanwhile, Edy has been given a sanction.

1. Gerindra Will Summon DPRD Member Edy Mamat
The Gerindra Party Honorary Council (MKP) will summon a member of the South Tangerang DPRD, Edy Mamat, after the incident of beating a referee during a football match. Edy is said to be threatened with disciplinary sanctions.
“The initials of the individual EM and the person concerned are threatened with disciplinary sanctions if they are proven to have beaten them. Gerindra cadres, especially those in public positions, must really maintain their attitude,” said Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman in a written statement, Saturday (11/6/2022) .
2. Chronology of the beating of Tangsel Members to the Referee
Secretary of North Serpong Sub-district (Sekcam) Dahlan revealed the trigger for the beating in the inter-village football match (Tarkam). Initially, Dahlan’s story, Edy as a player issued disrespectful language to Eka, who turned out to be a member of the TNI. Edy’s attitude was finally given a yellow card by Eka.
“Then he was given a yellow card because of that language. When he was given a yellow card, he (Edy) didn’t accept it. Then the referee kicked him with his knee,” Dahlan explained when contacted, Sunday (12/6/2022).
Again, Edy’s attitude is increasingly being rewarded with a red card by Eka. It was at this point that Edy’s anger peaked and he scolded Eka.
“In the event that you were given a red card playing football, you didn’t accept it. Now, Si Edy Mamat hit the referee. If I were a referee, I was hit like that, so defend,” he said.
