Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Laga North Macedonia vs Netherlands of Euro 2020 (Euro 2021) puts De Oranje as the seed, but the 1988 European Cup winner should be worried about the opponent’s game.
The Netherlands has so far collected six points, the result of two wins against Ukraine and Austria. On the other hand, North Macedonia always loses against Ukraine and Austria.
North Macedonia has even been confirmed as the first team to be eliminated from Euro 2020. However, Goran Pandev and his friends are not without opportunities.
Here are five reasons the Netherlands could drop points against North Macedonia in the closing match of Group C:
1. The North Macedonian Tiger Shows No Weight
North Macedonia has not had any burden in the last match because it has been confirmed to be eliminated from Euro 2020. The squad nicknamed Lavovi, which means the Tigers, only thinks of showing their best game and trying to finish their debut at the Euros well.
Igor Angelovski’s team did not even think about how to save energy, because against the Netherlands was their last match.

2. The Netherlands Has Passed
When the opponent was definitely eliminated, on the other hand the Netherlands had already confirmed a ticket to the last 16 with the status of group winners. This condition allowed the Dutch to appear relaxed and not wholeheartedly facing North Macedonia.
The Netherlands can also appear by placing back-up players who have never been played by coach Frank De Boer.
3. North Macedonia Always Scores
Two matches against Ausria and Ukraine ended in defeat. But North Macedonia can always score goals. Goran Pandev scored the first goal and Ezgjan Alioski followed. This means that North Macedonia’s offensive capabilities cannot be underestimated.
4. Spaces in the Dutch Defense
The Netherlands almost failed to win in the match against Ukraine because carelessly left open space in the defense area. After that no goals occurred against Austria, but it is not a guarantee that the Netherlands has reached a point of consistency against North Macedonia.
5. Pandev’s Inspiration
Pandev is like a mentor on the North Macedonian team. At 37, the Genoa player is the oldest in the team. Pandev’s skills and experience are still needed, but soon Pandev will step down.
Pandev’s colleagues in the team seem to be giving a sweet farewell to the captain in the final match of Euro 2020 for North Macedonia.
