The Hague – Consumers can go to the Financial Services Complaints Institute (Kifid) with complaints about banks and insurers. The industry pays the bill. Ever since it was founded in 2007, criticism has been made that Kifid is not impartial. In response to questions from SP MP Alkaya, minister Hoekstra (Finance) promised an independent investigation.
