However, after 19 years of operation in Indonesia, the Fish n Co restaurant. permanently closed at the end of 2022. This news was conveyed via uploads on Insta Story, Fish n Co. Indonesia announced that their outlets together with GF Culinary will stop operating starting December 31, 2022.

In mid-2023, news emerged of the Texas Chicken fast food restaurant managed by PT. Cipta Selera Murni TBK will close all of their outlets in Indonesia.
This news comes from PT Cipta Selera Murni TBK (CSMI) as the franchise holder for the Texas Chicken restaurant. The main reason Texas Chicken closed was because the company continued to experience losses.
The closure of Texas Chicken outlets itself began in February 2023, after PT Cipta Selera Murni TBK no longer collaborated with Cajun Global LLC as the owner of the original Texas Chicken brand.
