jpnn.com, JAKARTA – A shootout between Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat and Bharada E at the official house of the Head of Public Relations of the Police Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Friday (8/7), captured the attention of many people.
The incident killed Nopryansah alias Brigadier J who incidentally was a member of the Brimob Corps.
The official explanation from the police stated that Brigadier J was a Brimob personnel who served in the Propam Division of the Police. He also became the personal driver of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo’s wife, Putri Candrawati.
Meanwhile, Bharada E was listed as a member of Brimob. However, he was seconded as an aide for Ferdy Sambo.
Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan | said the shooting was triggered by Brigadier J’s abuse of Putri.
“What is clear is that Brigadier J was indeed harassed and pointed a gun at the head of the Propam Head’s wife,” said Ramadhan.
Syahdan, Putri shouted for help. Bharada E, who heard the screams, responded immediately, resulting in a shootout between the two policemen.
However, strangeness surrounds the case. Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD also smelled the irregularities of the incident, especially regarding the official explanation of the Police.
