Motorola recently launched five new smartphones from the Moto E and Moto G series for the global market in early 2023. The five are Moto E13, Moto G13, Moto G23, Moto G53 5G, and Moto G73 5G.

1. Motorola Moto E13, a smartphone that targets entry-levels
We start with the most affordable smartphone, the Moto E13. This smartphone adopts bangs like water droplets which are the home of a 5 MP selfie camera. On the front side, there is also an IPS screen with a span of 6.5 inches, a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels (HD+), and refresh rate 60Hz.
On the back side, there is a camera module which contains two holes, where the top hole contains a 13 MP camera and the other hole contains an LED flash. Its performance is supported by the Unisoc T606 processor combined with 2 GB of RAM. Some of the other main specifications are 64 GB of internal memory (expandable with a microSD card up to 1 TB), mono speakers, USB Type C, IP52 (splash-resistant), and a 5000mAh battery supported by 10W charging.
There are three color options available, viz cosmic black, creamy whiteand aurora green. The price starts from 120 euros or around IDR 1.9 million.
2. Motorola Moto G13, stronger performance
Next up is the Moto G13. Some of the specifications are the same as the Moto E13, such as type, screen size and resolution, IP52, USB Type C, and battery capacity.
On the front side, the Moto G13 no longer uses bangs, but punch hole which contains an 8 MP selfie camera. Refresh rate the screen is also higher, namely 90Hz. On the back side, there are three cameras supported by LEDs flash. All three consist of a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP macro camera and a camera depth 2 MP.
Its performance is supported by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor combined with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory (expandable up to 512GB with a microSD card). There are anyway speaker stereo which makes the experience of listening to songs more enjoyable.
Battery recharging support is 10W or 20W depending on market area. Then, the security system is better thanks to the fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.
The Moto G13 is available in a choice of colors matte charcoal, rose goldand blue lavender. Prices start at 180 euros or around Rp. 2.9 million.

The Moto G23 has a lot in common with the Moto G13. The main difference lies in the RAM, rear camera, front camera and battery charging support.
Apart from 4GB of RAM, the Moto G23 is also available in an 8GB RAM variant. On the back, there are three cameras with the same main and macro cameras as the Moto G13. However, one more camera is a camera ultrawide 5 MP which can also function as a camera depth.
To take selfies, the Moto G23 provides a 16 MP front camera. Then, even though the battery capacity is both 5000mAh, the recharging process is faster thanks to the 30W charger.
The Moto G23 comes in colors matte charcoal, pearl whiteand steel blue. Motorola sells it starting at 230 euros, or around Rp. 3.7 million.
4. Motorola Moto G53 5G, faster internet connection
Moto G53 can connect to 5G cellular networks thanks to the Snapdragon 480+ processor combined with a minimum of 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory which can be expanded with a microSD card up to 1TB. On the front side, there is a screen with the same type, span and resolution as the Moto G23, however, refresh rate even higher, namely 120Hz which of course offers a smoother display when scrolling the screen.
From the photography sector, the Moto G53 5G has two rear cameras consisting of a 50 MP main camera accompanied by a camera ultrawide 8 MP which also functions as a camera depth. Meanwhile, the front camera has a resolution of 16 MP. Unfortunately, the support for recharging the battery with a capacity of 5000mAh is only 10W. Some of the other key specs are the same as the Moto G23.
The Moto G53 5G is available in colors ink blue, arctic silverand pale pink. On the market, Motorola sells it starting at 250 euros, or around Rp. 4 million.
5. Motorola Moto G73 5G, the best option out of the other four models
The Moto G73 5G is the best of the five smartphones launched by Motorola. The performance is the strongest thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 930 processor which also allows this smartphone to connect to the 5G network. So far, the Moto G73 5G is available in just one variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory with support for expanding up to 1TB with a microSD card.
On the front side, there is a camera and screen similar to the Moto G53. However, the screen resolution is higher, which is 1080 x 2400 pixels (Full HD+). The rear camera configuration is the same as the Moto G53.
The battery capacity is 5000mAh which is supported by 30W fast charging. The majority of other specs are the same as the Moto G model in the previous three points.
The Moto G73 5G comes in two color options only, viz lucent white and midnight blue. This smartphone can be purchased at a price of 300 euros or around IDR 4.8 million.
The five smartphones above are Motorola’s new weapons to fight in the segment smartphone affordable to middle class. Out of all, the two models that support 5G connectivity seem to be the best choices to be relevant to the expanding 5G connections in the future.
