Rhythmed by the stainless titles of the Abba group, the musical “Mamma Mia!” is making its grand return to Paris on October 21, at the Casino de Paris. This cult show features the adventures of Donna and her daughter Sophie, who decides to invite her three potential fathers on her wedding day, and will be played until January 21, 2024. Carried by a live orchestra, “Mamma Mia !” is the ideal show to fill up with energy, good humor, and hits, from “Money, money, money” to “Dancing Queen”.

The most hybrid: “Molière the Urban Opera”
After “The Sun King” or “Mozart l’Opéra Rock”, Dove Attia signs a new creation, this time dedicated to the life of Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, alias Molière. Baptized “Molière l’Opéra Urbain” and carried by around forty artists, the show will be presented from November 11 at the Dôme de Paris. Combining theater and opera, it will be entirely sung, alternating urban music and slammed narrative parts. On the casting side, the public will find in particular on the boards Abi Bernadoth, the winner of The Voice 2020.

The “Jets” and the “Sharks” will take over the Châtelet theatre. A great Broadway classic, “West Side Story” is back on stage on October 20. On the program: two rival bands wandering the Upper West Side, an impossible love, frenzied choreographies signed by Jerome Robbins, and unforgettable tunes: “Maria”, “Tonight”, “America”… Created in 1957, this Romeo and Juliet of modern times is staged for the first time by Lonny Price, and brings together more than 20 musicians and 34 artists on stage.

Co-produced by Gad Elmaleh, the musical “Bernadette de Lourdes” will take place at the Dôme de Paris from September 21 to 24. Created in 2019, the show, whose music was composed by Grégoire (“You + me”), retraces the life of Bernadette Soubirous, who in 1858 claimed to have witnessed apparitions of the Virgin Mary in the cave of Massabielle. , in Lourdes. Directed by Serge Denoncourt and led by the young Eyma, revealed in The Voice Kids, this show tells a universal story, through grandiose scenography and costumes.

“Like A Virgin”, “La Isla Bonita”, “Hung Up”… All the planetary successes of the queen of pop Madonna will resonate at the Alhambra from September 29th. Entitled “Holidays”, the musical, directed by Nathan Guichet, tells the story of Louise, heiress of a great wine producer. After years of estrangement, the thirty-year-old decides to bring together her childhood friends in her estate.
