1. Stop automatic download

Apart from writing, WhatsApp allows users to send photos, documents, and videos. All the files will automatically be downloaded and saved on your phone. Saved files will make your phone memory full.
You can turn off this automatic download or download feature easily. Here’s how to disable downloads on WhatsApp.
- Go to settings
- Select Data usage and storage
- Select media auto download
- Select the file you don’t want to auto-download, it can be a photo, audio, video, or document.
Later, you can still view and save the file manually.
2. Pin a conversation or pin
WhatsApp has a pin or pin feature for conversations. This feature can make a conversation with a person or group a priority so that it always appears at the top. This feature makes you no longer have to bother looking for the chat.
You can lead a chat with your boyfriend, family, or work group.
To activate the pin feature, users only need to touch and hold one of the conversations, then click the pin sign at the top. This feature can only be done on a maximum of three conversations.

- To bold a word or sentence, add an asterisk
- on both sides of the phrase for example *message*.
- To italicize a message, add an underscore as follows _message_.
To cross out a message, add the following ~message~.
4. Lock WhatsApp
You can lock the WhatsApp application so that it cannot be opened by just anyone. This feature can increase security using WhatsApp.
To enable it, tap Settings > Privacy > Fingerprint lock
After this feature is activated, the WhatsApp application can only be opened with your fingerprint.
5. Disabling the blue tick
You can turn off the blue tick feature on WhatsApp. The blue tick feature is a feature that indicates that the message has been read.
If this feature is disabled, you can read messages without having to fear that the sender of the message will know the message has been read.
