Homicides Dini Nurdiani (26) is still being investigated. Until now, the police have determined the sole suspect, namely Neneng Umaya (24) who is the wife of Dini’s lover with the initials ID (27).
Neneng Umaya was determined to commit the murder because she was motivated by jealousy over the affair between Dini and the perpetrator’s husband, ID. Initially, she discovered the affair through a WhatsApp chat between her husband and Dini.
Unable to accept being cheated on, Neneng Umaya finally framed Dini through the WhatsApp number owned by the perpetrator’s husband, ID. At that time, the perpetrator claimed to be ID’s nephew and asked the victim to break the fast together on April 26.
But unfortunately, on Sunday (1/5) Dini’s body was found dead in Bekasi, West Java. Not long after, the perpetrator, Neneng Umaya, was arrested in Cipayung, East Jakarta, on Friday (13/5). Until now, the police are still investigating the case to find out if there is a connection between the other perpetrators, even though Neneng said that he only carried out the murder alone.
“I’ve tried to ask again if there was anyone who helped? Indeed he answered casually as it is. He showed all the ways of the killing process from picking up to carrying out the execution process. He explained without changing,” said Cengkareng Police Chief Kompol Ardhie Demastyo to journalists, Monday (16/5/2022).
ID Admits Not Knowing Early Nurdiani Was Killed by His Wife
It is known that the reckless actions of the perpetrators were driven by jealousy over the infidelity committed by Dini and the perpetrator’s husband with the initials ID (27). But the police confirmed that ID didn’t know when his wife planned to kill Dini Nurdiani.
“Her husband himself did not know until yesterday when we picked him up at his house. We cooperate with the Bekasi City Police Criminal Investigation Unit and we secure it and we immediately process the crime scene,” said Cengkareng Police Chief Kompol Ardhie Demastyo to reporters, Monday (16/5).
Ardhie said that even at the crime scene, the perpetrator explained clearly the sequence in carrying out the murder to Dini. The perpetrator Neneng, said Ardhie, had even prepared a change of clothes to wear after killing Dini.
“He showed the location when he killed the victim and after being killed he also prepared clothes to be changed. So this suspect has prepared clothes because he is covered in blood. So he wears clothes prepared from home,” explained Ardhie.
Meanwhile, ID, as the husband of Neneng, did not know of any plans that his wife had devised for the murder of Dini. The police said that from a series of examinations carried out on Neneng, the perpetrator consistently admitted that he had committed the act alone.
