5 homes evacuated after a fire in Saint-André-de-la-Roche

Arrived on the spot, the detachment of twenty-four firefighters and six machines quickly controlled the flames escaping from the electrical cabinet.

To avoid any risk of smoke poisoning, the owners of the five homes evacuated the premises before the arrival of help.

There were neither intoxicated nor injured. The gendarmerie was present on the scene with the services of Enedis. Shortly before 8 p.m., the firefighters carried out reconnaissance on the roof to check that there was no propagation to the wooden frame of the building. Part of the roof has been bare. A 50 m apartment2 was impacted by fumes. Its occupants have been relocated with relatives.

At around 8.15 p.m., the other evacuees were able to return to their homes.
