Arsenal conquer Nottingham Forest continuously Premier League. The gunners won 5-0 and returned to the top of the Premier League standings.
From Arsenal-Nottingham Forest held at Emirates Stadium, Sunday (10/30/2022) WIB night. Arsenal closed the first half with a 1-0 lead thanks to Gabriel Martinelli’s goal.
The hosts scored four goals in the second half. Reiss Nelson scored two goals before being added by Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard.
Thanks to this victory, Arsenal claim the top Premier League ranking out of the hands of Manchester City. Mikel Arteta’s troops have collected 31 points in 12 games, two points clear of City. Meanwhile, Forest sinks to the bottom of the standings with nine points.
The course of the game
Arsenal had opened the scoring when the match had only been underway for five minutes. Gabriel Martinelli gave the Gunners a 1-0 lead with a header.
The collaboration of Martinelli and Bukayo Saka resulted in a goal for Arsenal. Martinelli passes to Saka on the right, who then crosses into the penalty area. Martinelli had moved into the penalty area and greeted Saka’s pass with a header.
Arsenal players then celebrated the goal by paying tribute to Pablo Mari. The Arsenal player, currently on loan at Monza, was the victim of a stabbing in Milan.

It didn’t take Arsenal long to create opportunities again. Three minutes after Martinelli’s goal, Gabriel Jesus has the opportunity to increase Arsenal’s lead. However, his left-footed shot that went to the far post is still out the door.
Arsenal were so dominant with possession that they reached 74% in the first 15 minutes of the match. Meanwhile, Forest has a hard time building attacks.

Jesus’ attempts to score again were in vain. This time his shot was saved by Henderson.
Objective! Arsenal were leading 5-0 in the 78th minute. Martin Odegaard makes Forest even more submerged. Receiving a push from Jesus, Odegaard fired into the top corner of the Forest door.
Jesus nearly scored Arsenal’s sixth goal in this match. From the corner, Ben White headed and headed for Jesus who was at the far post. But Jesus couldn’t get to the ball.
