Many studies have found that cholesterol from food has only a minor impact on a person’s blood cholesterol level. However, these foods should not be consumed in excess.

1. Cheese
A sheet of cheddar cheese contains 28 milligrams of cholesterol. This food also contains 7 grams of protein and fulfills 15% of the daily calcium requirement. Cheese is high in saturated fat. However, University of Copenhagen researchers found cheese improves heart health.
2. Eggs
Two large eggs contain cholesterol as much as 372 milligrams. Eggs also have 13 grams of protein, selenium which meets 56% of the daily requirement, riboflavin, choline, and vitamin B12. Compared to egg whites, egg yolks have the highest protein and nutrients. Egg yolks also contain antioxidants such as lutein and zeaxanthin.
