Hajar Aswad is a precious stone that comes from heaven. The name Hajar Aswad comes from Arabic al-Hajaru al-Aswad. Literally, Hajar means stone and Aswad means black.

Hajar Aswad was brought from heaven by the Angel Jibril by the command of Allah SWT. At that time, Allah commanded Prophet Ibrahim AS and Ismail AS to build the first place of worship in the world.
On earth, the Angel Gabriel gave the stone to Prophet Ismail AS and placed by Prophet Ibrahim AS in the northeast corner of the Kaaba.
Hajar Aswad is also called the most precious stone in the world because it comes from heaven.
