Student at Pelita Harapan University (HUP) Tangerang, USA, social media fan was abused by ex-boyfriend. He allegedly suffered physical and verbal abuse.
The story is widely commented on social networks Twitter. The United States allows the citation of shared stories.
“The abuse I suffered In fact it’s been going on for a long time, from the first time on June 7, 2022 until the last one I received last Saturday, namely verbal abuse,” said AS, Friday (2/17/2023).
Here are the facts about the incident:
1) Cases reported to Komnas Perempuan and the police
As This case of violence was reported by the United States to Komnas Perempuan. The abuse case was also handled internally at the campus where AS studied.
AS also reported the abuse by his ex-girlfriend to South Tangerang (Tangsel) police. The report is filed as TBL/B/356/II/2023/SPKT/South Tangerang Police/Polda Metro Jaya.
“Already (reported to police), campus lawyers as well as Komnas Perempuan are accompanying this case,” he said.
2) Admit to having been persecuted five times
The victim admitted to having been abused five times by her ex-boyfriend. The most severe act of violence occurred during the fourth persecution.
“The perpetrator abused me by dragging me into the car and forcing me until he pushed me into his car, punched me in the nose until he moved , banged my head against the dashboard, window and steering wheel of the car, grabbed me, slapped me, dragged me and threw me on the ground and the worst was me ‘strangle saying ‘death, homie, you never listen to me, bang,'” he explained.
AS admitted to being abused again in January 2023. He then decided to report to campus.
AS recounted the act of abuse to his parents. It was her parents who filed a police report on the alleged abuse.
AS has uploaded evidence of physical and verbal abuse by his ex-girlfriend. AS also said he was blackmailed by his ex-girlfriend.
