Singer, songwriter and actress Olivia Cella recently relocated to Los Angeles from New Jersey. Known for her rich tones and sultry R&B and pop flair, Olivia has performed at many popular venues including House of Blues, Avalon and The Mint in Los Angeles, and The Apollo Theater and The Bitter End in New York.

Olivia has also worked as an actress most of her life. She starred in her first short film as a child and has not stopped since. Olivia most recently played her lead role as “Bella Dia” in the independent feature “Hitter Twist.” Olivia plays a model who deals in diamonds in the film, set in the late 1980s in New York and Italy. It is expected to premiere in the fall of 2020.

Without a doubt, going to Italy to finish shooting the feature film “Hitter Twist” in which I play the main role of “Bella Dia”. We shot in a charming Tuscan seaside town during Carnival, called Viareggio.
I used to live in Switzerland, so having this opportunity to return was incredible. I also brought my mother and my boyfriend. It was a week of adventure, amazing food, and memories. Filming was the easiest part, I had a twelve hour flight to memorize all my lines.

Right now I’ve been listening to a lot of different music like EDM, R&B and rap, which is not like me! But Frank Ocean Self Control never goes away, neither does Tyler the Creator’s Earfquake and YG’s Slide is my new favorite.
This embarrassing moment literally left a scar.
After class, my boyfriend and I had coffee and headed over to my house to drink it and sit on the dock in my backyard while we went fishing. It was a nice, quiet day that we had planned, but as we went down to the lake I tripped on the stairs, spilling all the coffee and spreading my arm. My boyfriend picked me up and started cleaning my cuts while I tried to hold back my tears by pretending I was okay. Then my mother came out and was scared thinking that I needed stitches and now I have a big scar on my arm.

I am a yoga teacher. I was the youngest certified yoga teacher in New Jersey and taught aerial yoga with the silks for two years and now I teach yoga at my university – Vinyasa Flow – which I love to do and hope to get my higher certification soon.

My most sentimental possession would have to be all the amazing trinkets that I have collectively received from my mother over the years. From the gorgeous rings she wore when she was my age to the bags she wore in the ’80s, it’s great to wear something that she wore at my age. My favorite is, without a doubt, this denim jacket that she stole from her boyfriend at that time and that I now wear almost every day.
