In Suriname, another 5 corona deaths were recorded on Monday 12 July. As a result, the number of people who have died so far from the consequences of infection with the corona virus has risen to 587.
This is evident from the update of the figures on Monday evening official COVID-19 website of the Surinamese government.
The update also shows that slightly fewer new infections have been recorded: 80 after a total of 234 tests.
