The PSSI Election Committee officially closes the registration process for Executive Committee (Exco) candidates PSSI as of Monday (16/1). A total of five candidates Head of PSSI who entered the list.
From the results obtained by the PSSI Selection Committee for the 2023-2027 period, there are five candidates for general chairman, 17 deputy chairmen positions, and 78 Exco members.
Later the names of these candidates will be verified. After that it will be determined who is declared not eligible. They can then appeal to the Election Appeals Committee.
There are five names as candidates for the PSSI chairmanship: La Nyalla Mattalitti, Erick Thohir, Doni Setiabudi, Fary Djemy Francis, and Arief Putra.
Meanwhile, the prospective candidates for the PSSI Deputy Headum are old names such as Yunus Nusi, Ahmad Riyadh, Hasani Abdulgani, and Iwan Budianto. Besides that, there are the names of Queen Tisha, Azrul Ananda, to Sadikin Aksa.
Interestingly, the name Menpora Zainudin Amali is on the list of potential candidates for Deputy Chairman of PSSI.
PSSI Election Committee Chairman Amir Burhanudin said this was a provisional list or potential candidates. There is still a verification process. After being verified, the permanent candidate will be determined.
“From the data that has come to us, it’s still raw data. We haven’t opened the files one by one. From the data we have received, both from the support, there are five candidates for chairman, all male,” Amir said at a press conference.
The PSSI Selection Committee will announce the candidates who pass the verification on January 31.
