1. Easy to move
When changing to a new cellphone, you don’t need to bother opening the SIM tray and moving the card. With eSim, it will be very easy to transfer the SIM to your new cellphone, as well as saving time.
2. Can have multiple eSim
Devices that support eSim like the iPhone 14 can store up to eight eSims. Even though only two of them can be activated, users can have more phone numbers than that.
3. The fewer ports, the better
With eSim, that means the slot for the SIM tray can be removed. Getting rid of the extra port like what the iPhone did in 2016 with the 3.5mm headphone jack turned out to be a big step that could strengthen the build of a waterproof device.
