Tubular worms are a type of invertebrate that has a long lifespan as a marine animal. According to a study published in The Science of Nature in 2017, many species of tube worms live on the seabed of the Gulf of Mexico.

Among many, these animals are known to survive for hundreds of years. Some of them are around 200 years old and some can last up to more than 300 years.
