Animals with the farthest migration is one of nature’s most inspiring events. Animals are always on the move, but sometimes instinct drives them to make difficult, dangerous and extraordinary journeys in search of food.
This journey is known as migration. Some animal migrations occur once a year, some even daily. Migration also plays an important role in natural ecosystems.
In migrating, some animals travel thousands of miles. Reporting from AZ animals, here are the animals with the farthest migration:
1. Sea turtle
This charismatic sea traveler does migration excellent in the open sea for foraging and laying eggs. Scientists have recorded several sea turtles traveling across the Pacific Ocean between Indonesia and the west coast of the United States and Canada, totaling more than 10,000 miles.

One of their most impressive feats is navigating back to the shore where they were born to lay their eggs. A loggerhead turtle named Yoshi swam 22,000 miles over two years. Two Oceans Aquarium staff releases Yoshi after 20 years of living. He initially went to the aquarium because the shell was cracked.
