In addition to releasing the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, Samsung also released the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, a continuation of the Galaxy Buds2 which was released last August 2021. What are the “Pro” features in this TWS?
Samsung is not wrong to carry the name Pro for this TWS, because they buried a series of features that are quite interesting. Also a number of fixes and upgrades from its predecessor TWS.
1. Design
If the Pro variant usually has larger dimensions, it is different from the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, whose dimensions are 15% smaller than the Galaxy Buds2. The effect makes this TWS claimed to be more comfortable when used for a long time.

Then the design is also claimed to be ergonomic and equipped with ventilation holes for more effective airflow. Buds2 Pro is equipped with a triple microphone system that is protected by a windshield that is larger than the Galaxy Buds Pro to reduce recorded noise.
2. Active Noise Cancellation
The Galaxy Buds2 Pro is equipped with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), it’s nothing new. But this ANC is equipped with the Voice Detect feature, which will adjust the sound of the music being played when it detects the user is talking to someone else. Then Ambient Mode will be automatically activated so that users can hear the voice of the other person.
3. 24-bit Hi-Fi
The 10mm sized driver used in the Galaxy Buds2 Pro will get a high bitrate audio supply with support for 24 bit Hi-Fi sound. This feature promises to deliver audio with a high dynamic range, and relies on Samsung’s latest seamless codec (SSC HiFi) enabling high-quality music transfer without delay, and the latest coaxial 2-way speakers make the resulting sound richer than ever.
4. 360 degree audio
There is also a 360-degree audio feature that is claimed to provide a more immersive and realistic audio experience, and is also equipped with Dolby Head Tracking technology to provide a cinematic sound experience.
5. Seamless switching with other Samsung devices
Galaxy Buds2 Pro can also be used on various other Samsung devices besides cellphones, namely tablets, smartwatches, PCs, to smart TVs. Now Samsung is also bringing the Buds Audio Switch and Easy Pair features to the Samsung TV or Galaxy Book, so that the TWS can automatically transfer the connection to the device that is being used. The Buds2 Pro also supports SmartThings Find, which means users will be notified when the TWS lags behind.

In addition to the features above, the Buds2 Pro has a 61mAh battery which is claimed to be able to operate for five hours with the ANC feature on, and eight hours without ANC.
The case uses a USB-C port and is equipped with a 515 mAh battery, and is claimed to extend the duration of use of the Buds2 Pro up to 29 hours. This case also supports Qi standard wireless chargers.
The Bluetooth connection is version 5.3, with audio quality set by AKG, and has an IPX7 waterproof certification. Galaxy Buds2 Pro is available with prices starting from IDR 2,799,000, and three color choices, namely Graphite, White, and Bora Purple.
