After previously high resolution can only be felt from Twitter via the web, now this feature can officially be felt by Android and IOS users.

Quoting from Kompas.com, actually Twitter has been testing this feature since early March 2021, but now it’s only been inaugurated.
The Verge reports that so far Twitter users can only upload and view images on the timeline with a resolution of 2,048 x 2,048 pixels.
Whereas now the high-resolution version of 4K can reach 4,096 x 4,096 pixels, 8 MP pixels.
