The runner keeps smiling, “what keeps me going is taking partners, family and friends with me. I also take with me a lot of people who share a few km every day, others take me to eat, in passing cars, people waving to me, it’s super nice. “
“I swim in my swimsuits”
The runner at the start of the adventure expected to lose 11kg, a few hours from the finish, he maintains: “I did not weigh myself but I passed more than 4,500 times in front of the pool and I can tell you that I swim in my jerseys! ”
Patrick has been running between 6 am and 8 pm every day since June 14, “to meet the challenge, you have to do a little over 100 km per day”. The body is tired, but “the pain is mostly bobology, I had some muscle problems but I can understand my body and it follows my wishes. »For the finish line,« it will be a surprise, maybe a few people will run with me, but I haven’t planned anything. ”
To recover after this crazy challenge, “physically it takes between four and six months. The mind when the race is over often gives way, that’s the hard part. But Patrick is used to it! And already, he has in mind a new challenge for 2022 !
