The Sharjah Expo Center revealed the agenda of the exhibitions that it will organize and host during the current year 2023, in addition to its affiliated centers in Khorfakkan and Al Dhaid, which will include 49 economic, commercial and cultural exhibitions, achieving an increase of 23% over last year in the number of events it hosted in the year. 2022, which amounted to 40 exhibitions and events.

The center’s agenda this year acquires a special and distinct character. As it includes eight exhibitions and conferences that the Emirate of Sharjah will witness for the first time, which enhances the emirate’s position as a preferred global destination for hosting the most important events and the largest specialized exhibitions, and confirms the leading position of Expo Sharjah in the exhibitions, conferences and meetings sector in the entire region, and these new exhibitions include the launch of the first edition of the school fair The International Building, Architecture and Design Exhibition, the International Language Conference, the Trade Fair, the Arab Rubber Exhibition, the Wood and Composite Plastics Exhibition, and the PU-Tech Exhibition, all of which will be witnessed at the exhibition grounds at Expo Sharjah, in addition to organizing the Mango Festival at the Khorfakkan Expo Center.

For his part, Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of the Expo Center Sharjah, pointed out that the addition of new exhibitions to the 2023 agenda was an inevitable result of the remarkable development witnessed by the Sharjah Expo Center in the logistics services supporting the exhibition industry thanks to the great support that we receive from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. And the strategic visions that made the center enjoy exceptional capabilities, modern world-class facilities, advanced technologies, and high-quality services that we provide to event organizers from different countries of the world, and dynamism in organizing and hosting the largest events of any kind and specialization, especially with flexible indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces; Where the total area of ​​​​the six spacious exhibition halls is about: 453 thousand square feet, in addition to 64 thousand and 600 square feet designated for car parking, supported by six huge gates for loading and unloading services and the installation of all forms of pavilions of different designs and specializations, which made the center host and attract more than two million And 500 thousand visitors and more annually.

The Sharjah Expo Center in 2023 kicked off its busy agenda by organizing the 18th edition of the Steel and Steel Exhibition, “Steel Fab 2023”, which strengthened the exhibition’s position and its growing importance as one of the most important events in the region specialized in supplying the most innovative metalworking machinery and technology from various countries of the world. By attracting thousands of visitors and local and international decision makers in the iron and steel industry.

Specialized exhibitions

Next February will witness the organization of three specialized exhibitions, starting with the seventh edition of the International Photography Festival “Exposure”, from February 9 to 15, and the eighth edition of the International Paper Exhibition “Paper One Show”, which is organized by the “Al Furat” company. for exhibitions and conferences, during the period from 21 to 23 February 2023, in addition to the first edition of the School Exhibition during the period from 24 to 26 February.

The center’s agenda this year is characterized by a number of qualitative, specialized and supportive exhibitions for the construction sectors, most notably the International Building, Architecture and Design Exhibition, which will be held for the first time this year in the center during the period between 9 and 11 October, in addition to organizing the Gulf Paint Exhibition during the same period, as well as organizing an exhibition Arab Rubber from November 21 to 23, the Wood and Plastic Composite Exhibition from February 21 to 22, and the Furniture 360 ​​Exhibition from November 30 to December 3, 2023.
