The corona numbers in Hamburg remain at a high level. According to the social authority, 487 new infections were registered on Saturday. That is 56 new cases less than on Friday, but 151 new cases more than a week ago.
According to the authorities, a total of 59,738 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the beginning of the pandemic. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 52,300 of these can now be regarded as recovered.
Incidence value rises to 144.1
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days has increased further and is now according to the information at 144.1. On Friday the value was still at 136.1.
More people in the hospital
274 corona patients are treated in Hamburg’s hospitals, 22 more than the day before. 86 people are in intensive care units. According to the RKI, 1,372 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. That is three more than last reported.
