The man came off the road in Dauersdorf for an unknown reason and drove about 50 meters along the ditch.
He crashed into a drainage cover, the motorcycle overturned, the handlebar landed badly injured in the ditch. A local who had noticed the accident provided first aid and alerted the emergency services. The seriously injured motorcycle driver was brought to the Wels Clinic, the police said.
