BEIJING, Feb. 18 (Xinhua) – A total of 48 COVID-19 patients were released from hospitals on Wednesday after their recovery on the Chinese mainland, the National Health Commission said in a daily report on Thursday.
A total of 520 confirmed cases remained hospitalized, ten of them in serious condition, according to the report.
Mainland China reported a total of 89,806 confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which 84,650 were discharged from hospital after recovery and 4,636 died of the disease, according to the toll on Wednesday.
