The Doctors Syndicate in Dakahlia announced, tonight, the death of Dr. Majed Mikhail, consultant for internal medicine at Talkha Central Hospital, as a result of his infection with the Corona virus, 48 hours after the death of Dr. Ahmed Al-Baz, consultant of the internal medicine and the former director of the Al-Geneina unit, with the same virus.
Dr. Osama Al-Shahat, head of the Dakahlia Doctors Syndicate, confirmed that “Mikhail” is the 45th martyr of the doctors ’martyrs in Dakahlia in the face of the Corona Covid 19 virus.
Al-Shahat said, in statements to Al-Masry Al-Youm, that Dr. Majed Mikhail was detained in Al-Sadr Hospital in Mansoura after his infection with the Coronavirus due to his poor condition and he died in it after his health deteriorated, days after his wife died of his infection with the virus.
He added, “The name of the martyr doctor has been included in the list of honor that it has drawn up for the martyrs of duty since the Corona pandemic to commemorate the names of doctors who are martyrs of national duty in the battle of Corona.”
Stressing the need to adhere to the application of precautionary measures to prevent Corona virus for the masses of citizens in general and medical teams in particular.
