While it is true that the restaurant in question is a posh place known for its higher prices, it would nevertheless seem that this trend is spreading to all establishments in the tourist town. A hotel would ask for example € 45 for its buffet and € 70 for a swim.
Prices that could discourage tourists from going to the coastal city. Asked about it, the mayor, Ahmet Aras, said that it was completely normal. According to him, it is natural that restaurateurs are trying to survive in this crisis and it is up to them to do everything to ensure that customers spend as much money as possible.
