According to the health authority, the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days is 134.1. According to the social authorities, a total of 36,421 people in Hamburg have tested positive for the corona virus since the pandemic began. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute, around 26,200 of these can now be regarded as recovered.
509 people in Hamburg died of the corona virus
As of Tuesday, 108 of the 544 corona patients in Hamburg’s hospitals are currently receiving intensive care. The Hamburg Institute for Forensic Medicine has now clearly identified Covid 19 as the cause of death in 509 deaths.
