The messaging app WhatsApp will no longer work on 47 phones starting December 31, 2023.
Quoted from Gizchina, WhatsApp regularly releases updates and smartphones or smartphone older releases are no longer able to keep up.
Previously, on October 24, 2022, the messaging application that was widely used around the world stopped working on iPhones running the iOS 10 and iOS 11 operating systems.
This time, there will be two types of iPhones that have lost access to the WhatsApp application, followed by dozens of types of old Android smartphones.
This provision of course applies to smartphones released several years ago, so it is likely that many people have upgraded their devices to newer models.
Users are advised to upgrade their cellphone specifications to newer ones if they want to continue to be able to use the WhatsApp application.
