Starting January 1, WhatsApp will stop working on 47 mobile phone models. However, there is no cause for concern, because the devices that will no longer receive functional and security updates are very old models.
Also, another point to clarify is that the end of support does not mean that the owners of these phones will lose access to WhatsApp, at least not initially. That is, the exchange of messages will take place normally, but without new updates.
It is worth mentioning that this process is common in the messenger. In practice, with the evolution of technologies and application tools, obsolete operating systems, present in older devices, become incompatible with updates.
Therefore, it is necessary to transfer support to newer mobile phones, with systems capable of running the messenger.

Invisible button can disable notifications
In the beta version of the messenger, a sort of invisible button is being tested that can turn off call notifications, especially when we can’t or don’t want to be disturbed.
To enable the new feature, you need to enter “Settings” in your WhatsApp and then access the “Notifications” bar. However, the tool does not have an arrival date for WhatsApp and is still being tested by users in the Beta version.
