They all traveled to Canada for the premiere. “Finding an opening film is a challenge and an honor at the same time. The last year and a half has been a challenge for all of us. We wanted to start with a film that recognizes the challenges of life but also celebrates the power of connecting with others,” said TIFF Co-Chef Cameron Bailey at the opening of the festival at Roy Thompson Hall.
